Design Inspiration

Project Overview: The theater is located at the School of Music, Luoyang Normal University. The indoor floor plan is horseshoe shaped, and the indoor volume of the auditorium is 12740m ³, with 1400 seats for the audience.
The grand theater mainly performs Chinese and foreign operas, dance dramas, large-scale musicals, and dramas. Opera and drama performances mainly use natural sounds to ensure appropriate reverberation time and uniform sound field indoors.
The sound quality effect of the theater design is 500Hz. The reverberation time in the empty space is RT60=1.40 ± 0.1s, and the noise meets NR-30; Under natural sound source conditions, the unevenness of the sound field in the hall is ≤± 4dB, and the maximum and minimum sound level difference is ≤ 8dB.
