Design Inspiration

Project Introduction: The music hall is located at Luoyang Normal University in Luoyang City. The indoor floor plan is rectangular, and the audience hall has a length of 19.4m and a width of 22.5m. The indoor area of the audience hall is 22921m ³, with 428 seats and an average seat volume of 6.8m ³ per seat.
This concert hall is mainly used for vocal performances (solo, ensemble, choir), instrumental performances (solo, concerto, ensemble, and small-scale symphony performances), small-scale song and dance performances, and other multifunctional purposes.
Acoustic design scheme: Make full use of direct sound, utilize the ceiling reflector near the entrance and some of the side walls of the entrance, and carry out appropriate sound diffusion treatment to promote a more uniform sound field. The ceiling adopts a layered design with 35mm thick GRG ceiling panels, and the side walls of the audience hall are decorated with 35mm thick GRG panels and treated with diffusion in combination with the decoration design.
The sound quality effect of the theater design is 500Hz. The reverberation time in the empty space is RT60=1.30 ± 0.1s, and the noise meets NR-25; Under natural sound source conditions, the unevenness of the sound field in the hall is ≤± 4dB, and the maximum and minimum sound level difference is ≤ 8dB.
