Design Inspiration

Project Overview: 

The Nanchuan Culture and Art Center Theater is located in Nanchuan District, Chongqing, and is an art exhibition center and theater building. The building area of the auditorium is 645.3 square meters, the stage area is 586.6 square meters, and the total volume of the theater is 28221 cubic meters; The theater has a total of 823 seats, including 542 on the first floor and 281 on the first floor, classified as a medium-sized theater based on the number of audience seats.
Yushi Technology provided a comprehensive acoustic decoration solution for the theater, including deepening of acoustic design schemes, production and construction of acoustic materials.

Acoustic design scheme:
The lifting angle of the ceiling is determined based on sound analysis, and AGG sand absorbing panels are used as acoustic materials to support large-area seamless processes, ensuring the overall integrity of the ceiling and excellent sound absorption effect.
The side wall adopts a combination of diffusion and sound absorption design, and the lower part of the side wall uses a wideband composite sound absorption soft package, which has a wide sound absorption frequency band and effectively controls the indoor reverberation time. The upper part uses variable sound absorption and diffusion units to improve the uniformity of indoor sound field.

Detailed explanation of the plan:
The main function of this theater is to perform artistic programs such as singing and dancing, drama, and local opera, while also meeting the requirements for holding large-scale conferences; When performing opera and drama, natural sounds are mainly used.
